Retrieve a finder entity

Returns a single finder entity by id, scoped to the caller's workspace membership.

get/v2/finder/{id}

Path parameters

idstring required

Identifier of the finder entity to retrieve. Matches the _id field.

Unique entity identifier. Serialized as _id for parity with the finder collection and the frontend FinderItem shape.

typestring required

Discriminator for the heterogeneous finder collection, e.g. "project", "directory", "skill", "prompt", "agent", "dataset".

display_namestring required

Human-readable name shown in the navigation tree.

descriptionstring

Optional description of the entity.

workspace_idstring required

Workspace that owns the entity.

project_idstring

Project the entity belongs to. Null for structural roots (projects).

parent_idstring

Parent finder node (directory or project). Null for roots.

keystring

Optional stable key used by some entity types (e.g. tools).

created_by_idstring

Identifier of the user who created the entity.

updated_by_idstring

Identifier of the user who last updated the entity.

metadataobject

Free-form metadata stored with the entity.

created_atstring

ISO timestamp for when the entity was created.

updated_atstring

ISO timestamp for when the entity was last updated.

icon_urlstring

Optional logo or image URL shown for this entity.
