Changed on

Highest-producing wells over the trailing period, optionally scoped to a state. Defaults to TX and the trailing 12 months. Returns 404 with an explicit reason when well-level coverage is absent or outside the requested window.

Query parameters

state_codestring

Two-letter state code. Use either state_code or its state alias; conflicting values return 400.

Alias for state_code. Conflicting values return 400.

Maximum wells returned; clamped to 1–100.

monthsinteger

Lookback window in months; defaults to 12.
