Backend version info

Returns version metadata injected at image build time via Docker build args.

  • version: set by CI as CI_COMMIT_TAG on tagged pipelines (e.g. v1.4.2), or <branch>-<short_sha> on branch pipelines (e.g. main-abcdef1), or dev for local runs without CI.
  • commit: full git SHA (CI_COMMIT_SHA); empty string if not set.
  • build_date: ISO-8601 UTC timestamp (CI_PIPELINE_CREATED_AT); empty string if not set.
