Get Voice

Changed on

One voice with its provider defaults and the caller's favorite flags.

A voice cloned from a member of the caller's team adds kind: "cloned" and clone (status, owner_user_id); another team's cloned voice is the unknown-id 404.

Revoked voices answer 200 with availability.status: "revoked" so historical takes can show a name. voice_id is decoded here, so a malformed id is the same 404 voice_not_found as an unknown one.

The voice engines this client understands, comma-separated: elevenlabs,fishaudio,inworld. ElevenLabs is always on; Fish Audio models and voices appear only for a client that lists fishaudio (or, on GET /v1/voices, asks for provider=fishaudio or a featured/community category), and Inworld's only for a client that lists inworld (or asks for provider=inworld).

Calendar-dated API version pin. New integrations should pin 2026-05-01 to opt into the newest response shapes. For back-compat the server also accepts requests with no header and resolves them to the current default (today: 2026-04-12); that default advances on each sunset date. Any unsupported value returns 400 unsupported_version.
