webhookstring

An
https
url to deliver the result to. Given one, the request is accepted with a
202
and a body of
{"id": ..., "status": "accepted"}
instead of waiting for the prospecting, which can take a while. The result is
POST
ed to this url as soon as it is ready.

The body is
{"id": ..., "type": ..., "timestamp": ..., "data": ...}
, where
id
repeats the initial
id
,
type
names the event,
timestamp
is when the result was produced, and
data
carries the
status
the synchronous request would have answered with, and is otherwise the response you would have received synchronously, or an
error
message if it could not be answered.

Deliveries follow Standard Webhooks: each carries a
Webhook-Id
(which mirrors the body's
id
), a
Webhook-Timestamp
(unix seconds) and a
Webhook-Signature
header, the last formatted
v1,<base64 hmac-sha256 of "<id>.<timestamp>.<body>">
and keyed with your api key, so any Standard Webhooks client can verify it. Reject a body whose signature does not match, and one whose timestamp is older than you are willing to accept. Delivery is retried with backoff until your endpoint answers
2xx
, and is abandoned after 10 attempts.
