Owner-occupation and housing tenure rates

Explicit total owner-occupation rate plus owned-outright / mortgaged / renting / public-housing shares — a suburb rollup and the per-microburb downscaled Census shares. owner_occupied_pct is the requested headline; it equals owned outright plus mortgaged and is null if either is absent. census_year makes the 2021 reference period explicit.

Exact suburb identifier required. Exact ABS Suburb and Locality (SAL) name, e.g. Burwood (NSW) — many suburbs carry a state suffix. If starting from free text or an unverified bare name, first call GET /v1/geocode/suburb?q=<text>, then use the exact data[].area_name it returns. Suburb data endpoints do not guess a state or typo-correct names.

Price: 10¢ per call.
