Create Payment Token

Creates a Shared Payment Token for merchants that support the Agentic Commerce Protocol. Returns a token string, not full card details. Use a payment token instead of a card when the merchant accepts one. This endpoint is not yet available.

merchant_namestring required

Name of the merchant.

purposestring nullable

A memo for your own records. It is never sent to the merchant and does not restrict what the token can buy.

expires_in_minutesinteger

Token expires after this many minutes (default 60).

Always spt, so you can tell this apart from a card response.

tokenstring required

The token to hand the merchant in place of a card number.
