Stays the field everything downstream consumes: it is copied onto document lines, drawn into the PDF, and emitted as ram:Description (BT-154) in the EN 16931 e-invoice, which is plain text by specification. Never store markup here.

Held alongside rather than replacing description because the two have different jobs — this one is for reading and editing in the app, that one is what may legally leave in an e-invoice.
