api_versionstring required

The major API version this endpoint belongs to. Currently always "v1"; a future breaking change would ship under "v2" at a separate base path, and this field would let monitors detect the version they're hitting.

status'ok' required

Always "ok" when the response reaches the caller. The endpoint is a liveness probe: if the API can answer at all, it answers ok. An unreachable service returns no JSON body (connection refused or upstream 5xx).
