List demographic topics

List all available demographic topics.

Topics group related census fields into categories like age, income, housing, etc. Use topic IDs with the ?topics= parameter on the demographics data endpoint to request all fields in a topic at once.

16 standard topics (available at all geographies): summary, age, income, housing, education, employment, transport, family, language, ancestry, religion, birthplace, health, internet, volunteering, unpaid_work

9 Indigenous Profile topics (ILOC/IARE/IREG only): ip_summary, ip_age, ip_language, ip_education, ip_income, ip_health, ip_housing, ip_family, ip_employment

Usage with demographics endpoint:

• GET /v1/data/demographics?boundary_id=sa2:117011325&topics=income — all income fields
• GET /v1/data/demographics?lat=-33.87&lng=151.21&topics=age,income — multiple topics
• POST /v1/data/demographics with "topics": "summary" — polygon query with topic expansion
