Lookup boundaries by coordinates

Resolve a latitude/longitude point to its containing statistical boundaries.

Returns all boundary types (SA1-SA4, LGA, postcode, suburb, etc.) that contain the given point, along with H3 hexagonal grid indices at resolutions 3-9 and any matching planning regions.

Uses an H3 crosswalk table for fast lookups with a spatial query fallback.

Latitude in decimal degrees.

lngnumber required

Longitude in decimal degrees.

typesstring nullable

Comma-separated boundary types to return (e.g. sa2,lga). Returns all types if omitted.

Response

Matching boundaries, planning regions, and H3 indices for the given point.
