Add data center to the tenant

Add data center to a tenant.

Note:

  • While the new data center is being added to the tenant, the new data center is not available for normal operations until all tenant data is synced to it.
  • Requires administrator permissions
post/_api/tenant/{tenant}/datacenter/{datacenter}

Path parameters

tenantstring string required

The tenant to which the data center is added. You cannot add the system tenants _mm and demo to a data center.

datacenterstring required

Data center that needs to add to the tenant.

Query parameters

forceboolean

Force syncing fabric data.

copyLocalCollectionsboolean

Copy local collections data.

remoteDcstring

Name of remote data center to sync fabric data from.

excludeCollectionsstring

Collections to exclude from syncing (comma-separated).

fabricstring

Fabric to which the data center needs to add.

Response

Successfully added data center to tenant.

codeinteger

HTTP response code.

errorboolean

Flag if there is an error in response. False for this response.

resultboolean

True if successfully added data center to tenant.
