Inspect a channel's alias, if any (operator)

Returns the channel {channel} is an alias of, or 404 if it is a normal (canonical) channel with no alias. See design doc release-channel-aliasing-and-selection.md in link/mablnet/docs.

Path parameters

artifactstring required

Release artifact the channel belongs to: mablnet-host (the worker binary) or link-agent (the Java Link Agent bundle). Channels are namespaced per artifact, so stable for one artifact is unrelated to stable for another.

channelstring required

The (possibly aliased) channel name to inspect.

Response

The channel is an alias; its target is returned.

idstring

Datastore key for this entity — <artifact>/<alias channel>. Server-set.

artifactstring

Release artifact the alias and its target belong to. Server-set.

targetstring required

The channel (within the same artifact) the alias resolves to. May itself be an alias (chains are followed), but must not equal the alias name and must not form a cycle.
