Search

Locate movies and TV shows (and their IDs) with lexical search or by external identifiers. Set entity_type to 'talent' to search talent names or talent IDs instead; it defaults to 'title'.

Request body

querystring

Provide a query term to search for TV show and movie titles, or for talent names when entity_type is 'talent'. This parameter cannot be used if an identifier is provided.

identifierstring

Provide an ID to search for exact matches of external IDs. For a title search the accepted external IDs are Luminate Film & TV project ID or IMDb ID; for a talent search they are the Luminate talent ID or the IMDb name ID. This parameter cannot be used if a query string is provided.

entity_type'title' | 'talent'

The type of entity to search for. Defaults to 'title', so requests that omit this parameter keep returning TV shows and movies.

frominteger

Offset from first result, used for pagination

sizeinteger

Number of results to return, used for pagination
