Partial update: only the fields sent change; signers and zones are replaced as a whole. Requires the sign-requests:write scope.

A document of your organization (POST /documents): the template keeps its own copy of the PDF. Without it, each use provides its own document. null removes the template's copy.

identity_verificationboolean

Signer identity verification required by the template (paid option, same rules as on POST /sign-requests). Inherited by requests created from the template (the call can override it with its own identity_verification) and by public forms built on it: each respondent verifies their identity, one identity credit is used per successful verification, and a submission is refused when the publishing organization has no available credit. The signature remains a simple electronic signature (SES), neither advanced nor qualified.
