Responses can be cached for six hours.

Rate limit: 60 requests a minute per IP.

from_datestring required

Range start, YYYY-MM-DD.

to_datestring required

Range end, YYYY-MM-DD. At most 90 days after from_date.

latitudenumber required

Decimal degrees, -90 to 90. Used for the display timezone.

longitudenumber required

Decimal degrees, -180 to 180, east positive.

timezonenumber required

UTC offset, in hours, for expressing event dates. The API works out the offset from the coordinates where it can; this value is the fallback.

placestring

Place name, echoed in the response. Coordinates decide the calculation.

planetsstring[]

Planet names. Defaults to all nine: Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, Ketu.

Ayanamsa (sidereal zodiac) to use. Case-insensitive. A value the API does not recognise as one of the listed modes is refused with HTTP 422 and a message listing them; it is never replaced by LAHIRI.
