Object storage health check

Returns the string "alive" when the object-storage service is reachable. This endpoint does not use the standard envelope; the response body is {"status": "alive"} with status as a string.

Non-standard envelope: This endpoint returns {"status": "alive"}, note that status is a string here, not a boolean as in other endpoints.
