Restore a few files from an earlier version

Puts only the files in paths back as they were in an earlier version, live immediately; every other file stays as it is now. Use it when one page, script or stylesheet broke and the rest of the site is fine. The result is a new version (cause file_restore) with a message, so it can be undone too. A path that was not in that version is a 422. The same checks as for a deploy apply (abuse scan, plan limits, four-eyes approval). If the files are already like that, nothing changes and unchanged is true.

Path parameters

idstring uuid required

The id of the site.

Request body

version_idstring uuid

The id of the version to take the files from, from list_site_versions.

numberinteger

Instead of version_id: the number of the version.

pathsstring[] required

The paths to restore, like ["/app.js", "/style.css"]. Every other file stays as it is now.

if_match_versionstring

Optional. The version of the site you are changing (version from get_site); if the site changed since, you get 409 version_conflict and nothing changes.

messagestring

Optional. A short description for the version history, like "Back to the old menu".

Response

The site as it is now live, with the new version.

unchangedboolean required

true: the site already had exactly these files, so nothing changed (safe to retry).
