auth

Enabled login methods for this instance.

Changed on

Public discovery: the enabled OIDC provider slugs and display names, and whether local login is enabled. Instance-level, never per-account, so it discloses nothing about which accounts or factors exist. Under the discovery admission bucket.

Query parameters

orgstring

The organisation whose sign-up door to render (signup_open, signup_paused, signup_methods); absent means the instance scope. An unknown organisation and one without a policy are the same closed door.

Response

The enabled login methods.

local_login_enabledboolean required
signup_openboolean required

The addressed scope (the instance, or ?org=) has an active registration policy: the sign-up door is open.

signup_pausedboolean required

The addressed scope has a policy that is inactive. The public page renders only "Sign-up is paused."; the cause renders on the Members panel (#587 d3). False when the scope has no policy.

signup_landing'org-template' | 'none' | 'fresh-org'

Where an admitted sign-up lands, present only while the door is open (#607): the addressed org (org-template), an account with no grants (none), or a fresh org of its own (fresh-org). Not secret: the landing kind is what the confirmation step tells the signer before the round-trip (#585 d5, #587 d1).
