Search canonical firms and filter by Firm type, financial thresholds, source identifiers, source date windows, and correlated person-role, FCA requirement, fine, FOS decision, and current AR/principal relationship criteria. When compound filters are supplied, each firm includes matching evidence. The result count is the number of canonical firms matching the supplied filters.

Query parameters

adviser_bracketstring

Comma-separated estimated retail investment adviser bands: 1, 2-4, 5-9, 10-19, 20+. Bands combine with OR; other filters combine with AND. Requires adviser_bands entitlement.

authorised_fromstring date

Filter by FCA date_first_authorised_by_regulator on or after this YYYY-MM-DD date.

authorised_tostring date

Filter by FCA date_first_authorised_by_regulator on or before this YYYY-MM-DD date.

authoritystring

Firm-search authority filter: fca, sec or psd. Comma-separated values match any selected source.

fca.aml_registration'annex1' | 'any' | 'cryptoassets'

Current recorded FCA Annex 1 or cryptoasset AML registration, including guarded company-number links. Any means either route, not all AML-supervised firms.

fca.annex1_status'registered'

Current Annex 1 AML registration on this or a safely linked FCA FRN.

fca.frnstring

FCA firm reference number.

financial.sec_regulated_aum_gte_usdnumber

SEC Form ADV regulated AUM at least this many USD.

fos.decision_count_eqinteger

Exactly this many distinct matching published decisions.

fos.decision_count_gteinteger

At least this many distinct matching published decisions.

FOS decision date on or after this date.

Page size. Defaults to 25 and is capped at 100.

Firm name or identifier search text.

Recorded AML registration of the same counted current counterparty; requires relationship.counterparty_role.

relationship.counterparty_annex1_status'registered'

Current Annex 1 registration of the same counted counterparty. Requires relationship.counterparty_role; includes safely linked FCA FRNs.

relationship.counterparty_firm_typestring

Comma-separated current V2 Firm type codes for counted counterparties.

relationship.counterparty_rolestring

Role of the counted counterparty: appointed_representative returns principals; principal returns appointed representatives.

relationship.current_count_gteinteger

At least this many distinct current qualifying counterparties; zero is allowed.

relationship.current_count_lteinteger

At most this many distinct current qualifying counterparties; zero means none.

relationship.temporal_scopestring

Relationship temporal scope. Only current is supported.

requirement.approved_fromstring date

Requirement approved on or after this YYYY-MM-DD date.

requirement.approved_tostring date

Requirement approved on or before this YYYY-MM-DD date.

requirement.intervention_typestring

Comma-separated legal mechanisms; all must occur on one bundle. Values: vreq, oireq, vvop, oivop, vdir, oidir, voluntary_undertaking, deed_poll, other.

requirement.lifecycle_tagstring

Comma-separated lifecycle tags; all must occur on one bundle. Values: amended, varied, superseded, lifted, cancelled.

requirement.modified_fromstring date

Requirement last modified on or after this YYYY-MM-DD date.

requirement.modified_tostring date

Requirement last modified on or before this YYYY-MM-DD date.

requirement.restriction_tagstring

Comma-separated restriction themes; all must occur on one bundle. Values: new_business_or_customers, regulated_activity, asset_disposal, client_money_or_assets, appointed_representatives, reporting_or_notification, financial_promotions.

requirement.standard_typestring

FCA requirement source value: standard or non_standard.

requirement.tag_matchstring

Require all (default) or any supplied compatibility tags on one reviewed requirement bundle.

requirement.tagsstring

Comma-separated compatibility aliases backed by persisted requirement decisions: vreq, client_money, new_business_restriction, or appointed_representative_restriction.

role.codestring

Comma-separated role codes, for example SMF16. Role filters are correlated to the same role record.

role.source_authority'fca'

Role source authority. Public API v1 role rows come from FCA Extract.

role.start_fromstring date

Role start date on or after this YYYY-MM-DD date.

role.start_tostring date

Role start date on or before this YYYY-MM-DD date.

role.statusstring

Role status: current (default), previous or both.

SEC CRD number.
