Proxy Logs

Get a proxy log by request ID (for tracing)

Changed on
get/proxy-logs/request/{request_id}

Request

  • Base URL: /api (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
  • URL: /api/proxy-logs/request/{request_id}
  • Auth: HTTP bearer

Path parameters

request_idstring required

Request ID from pingora

Query parameters

project_idinteger nullable

Project scope for the lookup. Required for non-administrator callers. Instance administrators may omit it for legacy global deep links.

timestampstring date-time nullable

Event time of the log row (ISO 8601). When provided, the lookup is bounded to the hypertable chunks around this instant instead of scanning (and decompressing) the whole retention window. The list endpoint already returns this value per row — always pass it when navigating from a list.

Inbound request headers, credential values already replaced with [REDACTED] at ingest (see [crate::redaction]). None when the entry predates header capture or was written by a path that doesn't record them; an empty map means "captured, but no headers", which is different and worth being able to tell apart.

A BTreeMap rather than a raw serde_json::Value so the schema stays typed and the UI gets a stable alphabetical ordering for free.
