Create a new table by restoring from a completed backup. The returned table long-running operation can be used to track the progress of the operation, and to cancel it. The metadata field type is RestoreTableMetadata. The response type is Table, if successful.

Path parameters

parentstring required

Required. The name of the instance in which to create the restored table. Values are of the form projects//instances/.

Request body

backupstring

Name of the backup from which to restore. Values are of the form projects//instances//clusters//backups/.

tableIdstring

Required. The id of the table to create and restore to. This table must not already exist. The table_id appended to parent forms the full table name of the form projects//instances//tables/.

updateMaskstring google-fieldmask

Optional. The list of fields to set on the new table. A mask specifying which fields (e.g. deletion_protection) in the table field should be set. This mask is relative to the table field, not to the request message. The wildcard (*) path is currently not supported. Currently RestoreTable only supports the following fields for modification: * deletion_protection: Defaults to false if not set. * automated_backup_policy: Defaults to no automated backup policy if not set. Output-only fields in the mask will be ignored. If any other field not listed above is included in update_mask, it will result in an INVALID_ARGUMENT error.
