Path parameters

projectsIdstring required

Query parameters

updateMaskstring google-fieldmask

Optional. The list of fields of cache_config to update. Supported paths are disable_cache, retention_config (and its subfields such as retention_config.retention_type), and the special value *; any other path returns INVALID_ARGUMENT. Fields not covered by the mask keep their stored value. If the mask is omitted, it is treated as an implied mask covering the fields populated in cache_config, so updating one field never clears another. retention_config is covered only when the request carries it. disable_cache is always covered: it is a bare bool, so the server cannot tell a request that omits it from one that sets it to false. * requests full replacement of the resource: every settable field is written from the request, clearing retention_config when the request omits it. It cannot be combined with other paths. Prefer naming fields explicitly -- a caller that sends * without knowing about a field added to CacheConfig later would silently reset that field.

Request body

disableCacheboolean

If set to true, disables GenAI caching. Otherwise caching is enabled.

namestring

Identifier. Name of the cache config. Format: - projects/{project}/cacheConfig.

Response

Successful response

doneboolean

If the value is false, it means the operation is still in progress. If true, the operation is completed, and either error or response is available.

metadataobject

Service-specific metadata associated with the operation. It typically contains progress information and common metadata such as create time. Some services might not provide such metadata. Any method that returns a long-running operation should document the metadata type, if any.

namestring

The server-assigned name, which is only unique within the same service that originally returns it. If you use the default HTTP mapping, the name should be a resource name ending with operations/{unique_id}.

responseobject

The normal, successful response of the operation. If the original method returns no data on success, such as Delete, the response is google.protobuf.Empty. If the original method is standard Get/Create/Update, the response should be the resource. For other methods, the response should have the type XxxResponse, where Xxx is the original method name. For example, if the original method name is TakeSnapshot(), the inferred response type is TakeSnapshotResponse.
