Mempool Average Relative Fee
Definition. The mean relative fee of transactions waiting in the mempool.\n\nTechnical. The relative fee is calculated as total transaction fees divided by transaction size (in vByte).\n\nInterpretation. High relative fees indicate transaction urgency, as miners optimise for fee per size rather than total fee. The total fee a miner can collect from a block is bounded by available block space.\n
