Delete a public link
Deletes the link and everything that only it was using: its generated PDFs, thumbnails and any AI assistant data.
Disable it first
The link must already be disabled. Call PUT /links/{linkId}/disable, then delete. A live link that is deleted would keep serving — deleting removes it from your listings but does not close the link itself, and once it is gone there is no endpoint left to close it with. Deleting a link that is still live is refused with 409.
Documents already produced by the link are not deleted and remain fully accessible. A PDF still used by one of them is left in place.
Disabling has already released the billed link instance, so deletion changes nothing about billing.
Owner only — note that disabling is not, so a colleague can switch a shared link off but only the owner can delete it.
