Presentation-only: used to resolve the day window for the summary. Must never be persisted to user settings — the default below fires whenever a client omits the parameter, so writing it would turn a read into a settings mutation and overwrite a real timezone with 'UTC'. The canonical sync path is GET /user-settings?timezone=.
