Update Motor Pool Reservation

Updates an existing Motor Pool Reservation. The fields accepted depend on the reservation's current status:

  • requested: motor_pool_id, vehicle_type_ids, reason_for_trip, pick_up_at, drop_off_at, custom_fields.
  • approved: reason_for_trip, vehicle_id, pick_up_at, drop_off_at, custom_fields, motor_pool_reservation_line_items_attributes, vehicle_assignment.
  • checked_out, returned, or completed: the same fields as approved, except vehicle_id can no longer be changed.

Fields outside the current status's set are silently ignored rather than raising an error. denied and canceled reservations cannot be updated at all.
