WRITE: record that the traveller actually stood at one of their OWN saved places. Writes the point_visits ledger and recomputes XP / rank / season / badges from it. Same place, same day is a no-op (recorded:false), never a second award. Requires date (YYYY-MM-DD) — the server will not guess the traveller's calendar day from its own clock.
