Start a search on Google Maps

Start a background search for local businesses or other places of interest on Google Maps, polled for results and able to collect far more than one page. Describe the search either with 'query' plus 'strategy', or with a 'googleMapsUrl' copied from the address bar of a Google Maps search. For a single page of results returned immediately, use POST /v1/google-maps/search instead.

querystring nullable

The search query to run on Google Maps. Do not include a location info here. Examples: 'dominos pizza', 'real estate agent'. Omit this when you pass a Google Maps URL instead.

googleMapsUrlstring uri nullable

A link to a Google Maps search, taken from the address bar after searching. The search term and the area to search are read from the link. The term is used exactly as it appears in the link, so it may name a location even though you should leave locations out of 'query' — the area to search comes from the link, not from the term. Omit this when you pass a query and strategy instead.

maxResultsinteger

The maximum number of Google Maps results to return.
