GET /v1/state-election-office/

State laws and procedures govern elections for state or local offices as well as how candidates appear on election ballots. Contact the appropriate state election office for more information.

  • Base URL
    https://api.open.fec.gov (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
  • Auth
    API key in header X-Api-Key and API key in query parameter api_key and API key in query parameter api_key
  • TypeScript
    A function with typed inputs. Its response is checked against the schema.

Query parameters

pageinteger

For paginating through results, starting at page 1

per_pageinteger

The number of results returned per page. Defaults to 20.

statestring required

Enter a state (Ex: AK, TX, VA etc..) to find the local election offices contact information.

sortstring

Provide a field to sort by. Use - for descending order.

sort_hide_nullboolean

Hide null values on sorted column(s).

sort_null_onlyboolean

Toggle that filters out all rows having sort column that is non-null

sort_nulls_lastboolean

Toggle that sorts null values last
