Create Deep Research

A structured research report on an Islamic topic from Fanar-Sadiq-2, with headings and cited sources.<br/><br/>Depth levels:<br/>- quick — single-pass summary, fastest<br/>- standard (default) — multi-pass, balanced<br/>- comprehensive — exhaustive, widest source coverage<br/><br/>Expected runtime — minutes, not seconds: about 3-6 min for quick, 7-10 min for standard, longer for comprehensive.<br/><br/>Background mode (recommended). Because a run is this long, set background: true: the call returns a Job at once (its id also in X-Id) and the research no longer depends on your connection. Poll GET /v1/sadiq/deep-research/{id} for the result, or add stream: true to receive its events on this connection, resumable after a drop.<br/><br/>Without background, one connection is held for the whole run: stream: true (default) sends Server-Sent Events ending with the report, stream: false sends the report as JSON. If you see timeouts or disconnects, switch to background mode.<br/><br/>This endpoint requires additional authorization and is not allowed by default. The model to use for deep research. Currently only Fanar-Sadiq-2 is supported.

inputstring required

The research topic or question to investigate.

streamboolean nullable

Whether to stream the response. Defaults to true, or to false when background is set.

depth'quick' | 'standard' | 'comprehensive'
web_searchboolean nullable

Whether to include web search results.

backgroundboolean nullable

Run the research as a background job. The response is a Job returned immediately; retrieve it with GET /v1/sadiq/deep-research/{id}. With stream: true as well, the job's events stream on this same connection and can be resumed with GET /v1/sadiq/deep-research/{id}?stream=true.

A structured report (synchronous, non-streaming), an SSE stream (streaming), or, with background: true, a Job -- or the job's event stream when stream is also true.
