Search tasks

Search the tasks of your company across projects, filtering by q, project_id, status, column_id, priority, assignee_id (UUID or me), label_id, due dates and completed.

  • sort takes created_at, updated_at, due_on, priority or number; prefix - for descending (default -created_at).
  • Cursor-paginated: pass next_cursor as starting_after.

Path parameters

companystring uuid required

Public identifier (UUID v7) of the company. Get it from GET /v1/me (data.scope[].id).

Query parameters

qstring nullable

Free text matched against the task title and description. A value shaped like a task key (DEV-12) also matches that task by its key or a previous alias. Maximum 512 characters.

project_idstring uuid

UUID of a project of your company: only its tasks are returned.

status'planned' | 'active' | 'archived'

Board status: planned (backlog), active (in a column of the board) or archived.

column_idstring uuid

UUID of a board column: only tasks in that column are returned.

priority'none' | 'low' | 'medium' | 'high' | 'urgent'

Task priority: none, low, medium, high or urgent.

assignee_idstring

UUID of the assigned member, or me for the member who owns the API key.

label_idstring uuid

UUID of a task label: only tasks carrying that label are returned.

due_beforestring date

Only tasks due on or before this date (YYYY-MM-DD).

due_afterstring date

Only tasks due on or after this date (YYYY-MM-DD).

completedboolean

true returns only completed tasks; false only open ones. Omit it to return both.

sort'created_at' | '-created_at' | 'updated_at' | '-updated_at' | 'due_on' | '-due_on' | 'priority' | '-priority' | 'number' | '-number'

Sort order: created_at (default is -created_at), updated_at, due_on, priority or number; prefix it with - for descending.

limitinteger

Number of tasks to return. Integer between 1 and 100. Defaults to 25.

starting_afterstring uuid

Cursor for forward pagination: the id of the last task of the previous page (the next_cursor you received). An id that is not a task of your company returns 422 invalid_param_value.
