Name search in the OFAC Sanctions List Search tool

Searches a name in Sanctions List Search, the official search tool of OFAC, the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the U.S. Treasury.

Source: OFAC Sanctions List Search: https://sanctionssearch.ofac.treas.gov/.

Returns: the entries listed by the tool, each with name, address, type, programs, list and match score.

Execution: synchronous; generates a PDF.

Note:

  • Use this route when you need the result of the official tool and its proof document. To screen a name by similarity and get the full list record, use /us/ofac/sanctions.
  • The tool is searched with its minimum name score set to 100, so only the matches it scores 100 are listed.
