Verify an email

Verify one email address and get its deliverability verdict.

This call is synchronous: the verdict comes back in the response. Use it for one-off checks, such as validating an address a user just typed in. For a list of addresses use POST /v1/email-validation/ instead, which verifies them in the background.

Slow checks: if the check is still running after about 25 seconds you get 202 with a job_id instead. The check carries on and is billed the same way; poll GET /v1/email-validation/{job_id}/ for the verdict.

Verifying an address costs 1 credit, whatever the verdict.
