Get esper app version details by ID

Retrieves details for a specific version of an Esper App.

Given an app ID and version ID, returns the full EsperAppVersionResponse for that version — including its download URL, hashes, size, and platform metadata.

About Esper Apps

Esper Apps are Esper's own curated/system apps (as opposed to customer-uploaded tenant apps), spanning multiple platforms per the app_type field: TENANT_IOS, ESPER_IOS, ESPER_ANDROID, ESPER_LINUX, and ESPER_WINDOWS. Each app can have multiple versions, and this endpoint returns one specific version's detail.

Key Fields / Query Parameters

  • appId — UUID of the Esper App (path)
  • versionId — UUID of the specific app version (path)
  • X-Caller-Id — required request header
  • app_type — platform/type of the app (TENANT_IOS, ESPER_IOS, ESPER_ANDROID, ESPER_LINUX, ESPER_WINDOWS)
  • signature_hash — SHA-256 fingerprint of the app's signing key, only present for Android apps

  • Fetching download/version metadata for a specific Esper App version before deploying it
  • Verifying an app version's file hash or size prior to distribution
