Uploads an image to use as a thumbnail for a device group.

Uploads an image file that can subsequently be applied to represent a Device Group visually in the Devices & Groups section of the Esper Console. The image must be at least 180 x 180 px.

About Device Group Thumbnails Device Group thumbnails are purely cosmetic — they help admins visually distinguish groups in the Console UI and have no effect on device management, policies, or pipeline targeting.

Workflow

1. POST the image file to this endpoint
2. Note the returned thumbnail_id
3. Reference that thumbnail_id when assigning the image to a device group in the Console or API
