The ID of the chat provider to use for generation. If not provided, will use the highest priority model for the user.

delegation_run_mode'wait' | 'background'

How a delegated child run relates to the turn that spawned it: wait blocks the turn on the child and feeds the result back into it, background returns at launch and the child result never re-enters the turn.

Assistants the user @-mentioned in this message as delegation targets. Validated server-side; requires delegation.assistants.enabled.

message_idstring uuid required

The ID of the message that should be edited with a new response. It will be considered a sibling message to the new message.

The IDs of any files that should replace the input files. These files must already be uploaded to the file_uploads table.

The text of the message that should replace the user message.
