Search

Hybrid keyword and semantic search across all companies' SEC filings and earnings call transcripts. Returns matching excerpts with their document ids. When too few excerpts match every query word, the search automatically broadens to match any of the words — precise matches keep their rank and broader hits only fill the remainder.

Request

Query parameters

querystring required

Search query — plain keywords or a short natural-language phrase (required). Concise, filing-phrased terms (e.g. 'Data Center revenue') still rank best.

documentTypestring

Document type filter — one value or a comma-separated list (e.g. TenK,TenQ), by value or form label (e.g. 10-K).

startDatestring date

Earliest filing date (yyyy-MM-dd).

endDatestring date

Latest filing date (yyyy-MM-dd).

limitinteger

Maximum excerpts to return (default 5, max 500).

excludeTickersstring

Tickers whose filings are excluded from the results — one value or a comma-separated list (e.g. AAPL,MSFT). Use when a company's own filings would dominate the results for a query about its market.

maxResultsPerCompanyinteger

Maximum excerpts from any single company (default 0 = unlimited). Set a small value to spread results across more companies for discovery-style queries.

matchstring

How the query matches: ranked (default) for relevance-ranked retrieval that broadens to any of the words when results are sparse, or phrase for only the excerpts containing the query's words consecutively and in order (case and punctuation ignored).

Response

OK

limitinteger

The applied excerpt cap after clamping.

countinteger

Excerpts returned (equals data.length; count == limit signals the cap bound).
