Get Discount Type Distribution

This endpoint analyzes the first discount_type field in each notification’s specific_promotion_details and returns the count of each unique promotion type (e.g. "Flat Discount", "BOGO"). Only notifications with a non-empty discount_type.value are included. Useful for analyzing promotional strategy trends over time.

start_datestring date

Start date in YYYY-MM-DD format (default is 30 days ago).

end_datestring date

End date in YYYY-MM-DD format (default is today).

brandstring

Filter by brand (maps to appName in the database).

genrestring

Filter by app genre (e.g. Retail, Finance, Entertainment).
