Compute instances configurations

List of available configurations for virtual machine resize

Virtual machines configurations are limited by provider-specific options, which differ across data centers. To resize or modify a compute instance, verify the list of supported configurations for your VM to avoid incompatible changes.

Use this endpoint as a reference for available configurations for a virtual machine resize. You can search the available configurations by different parameters (virtual machine id, CPU, CPU type, RAM, and price).

When you find an appropriate configuration, provide the hardware parameters in the endpoint for editing a virtual machine.

Note: To retrieve available configurations for DigitalOcean virtual machines, use the GET v1/vms-configs method

get/v1/vms-resize-configs
