Installations

Create a new installation.

Required permission: messages_write

Path parameters

logIdstring required

The ID of the log containing the installation.

Request body

namestring

The name of the installation. This will typically be the application name. If creating multiple installations on the same name, they will show up as one application in the UI.

typestring

The type of installation. The following values will be recognized within the elmah.io but you can provide a custom type if preferred: aspnet, aspnetcore, console, azurefunction, service, windowsapp.
