Create a Trade

Initiate a new trade. You need to have an existing quote_id to do this

Reason for trade. The 'not_related_to_goods_or_services' reason is only for spot type.

is_padboolean

Whether to fund this trade via Pre-Authorized Debit (direct debit). Only valid for spot trades whose sell currency is enabled for PAD on the client's credit conditions.

initial_margin_amountnumber double

Only for forwards. Trade's deposit amount.

initial_margin_due_datestring date-time

Only for forwards. Date on or before which deposit must be received by Ebury. Date and time are in UTC.

maturity_datestring date-time

Limit date and time (UTC) in which funds must be received by Ebury. Only present for trades processed synchronously.

trade_idstring required

Trade identifier

external_reference_idstring

The client's external reference ID provided during trade creation. Only present for trades processed synchronously when it was provided in the request.
