Get Vibe site file contents

Returns the full contents of up to 20 source files from the site's current editor version, with each file's path and size in bytes.

  • Pass each file with its own path parameter, as returned by List Vibe site files. Repeated paths are returned once, and files are returned in the order requested.
  • Paths that don't exist or aren't visible (see List Vibe site files) are left out of the response. They aren't an error.
  • A file with no content returns content as an empty string.

Path parameters

site_namestring required

The site's unique name (its ID), returned when the site is created.

Query parameters

pathstring[] required

Path of a file to read, such as src/App.tsx. Repeat the parameter to read several files in one call, from 1 to 20. A leading / and surrounding whitespace are ignored.
