CNEP: punished companies — CGU
Tells whether a company (CNPJ) or person (CPF) is on the national register of punished companies (CNEP), which lists the sanctions applied under the Anti-Corruption Law (Law 12,846/2013).
Source: CGU CNEP list (Cadastro Nacional de Empresas Punidas), published on the Portal da Transparência; the query reads a periodically updated copy of the list.
Returns: the number of occurrences and, for each sanction, the punished party, the type of sanction, its start and end dates, the sanctioning body, the amount of the fine, the legal basis, the publication and the proceeding number.
Execution: synchronous; no PDF.
Note:
- Send cpf or cnpj, not both. Accepts alphanumeric CNPJ.
- Nothing found is a success (code 1) with NumeroOcorrencias equal to 0.
- A sanction that appears in several versions of the list is returned once, from the latest version that has it; rows the CGU lists separately within one version stay separate. Sanctions that no longer appear in the current list are also returned: ArquivoNome names the latest list version in which each one appears, and Recencia is the date of the current version.
- DataFim is empty when the list gives no end date; an empty DataFim does not mean the sanction has ended.
