Deep Earth Spectrum

Compute current normal mode spectrum from stacked RS network.

Fetches broadband noise from the specified RS stations, stacks them for SNR enhancement, and computes the power spectral density in the normal mode band (0.1-2.5 mHz). Identifies modes and extracts ML features.

station_codes : list of str RS station codes to stack. hours : int, optional Duration of noise to stack (default 48). apply_seasonal_correction : bool, optional Apply seasonal loading correction (default True).
