Short Interest

Short Interest

Short interest of US stocks and ETFs: the number of shares sold short and not yet bought back, reported twice a month, with the change since the last report, the average daily volume and days to cover. History from 2017 to today.

The answer is {total, limit, offset, sort, order, data_as_of, rows, latest (one symbol only), about}. Each row has symbol, settlement_date, security_name, market, short_interest, previous_short_interest, change_shares, change_pct, avg_daily_volume, days_to_cover, split_flag and revised. The demo key works with symbol=AAPL, MSFT or WMT.
