Drug Approvals

Drug Approvals

Drug approvals from official government data, for the US and 13 other countries (country filter). US: every original approval of a new drug, a biologic (including vaccines, blood products, allergenics and cell and gene therapies) or a generic drug, tentative approvals of generics, and every approval of a new use for a drug already on the market (for example a new indication). Each approval has the brand and generic names, the kind of approval, the review priority, a novel drug flag and the listed company that holds the drug today.

All filters are optional and can be combined. The answer is {country, total, limit, offset, sort, order, data_as_of, rows, ignored, about}. Rows of other countries carry date_precision (year when only the year is published, so no day is shown) and approval_id for the detail endpoint. US rows also carry center, product_category, name_source (set when a missing name was filled in from other official data) and note. The demo key works with symbol=AAPL, MSFT or WMT.
