Search vessel registry

Changed on

Search the vessel database by any combination of type, name, dimensions, country, or year built, without needing a specific MMSI or IMO. Returns static specifications for each match.

Returns up to 500 results per page. When more results exist, meta.next carries a pagination token. Pass it back as the next parameter to fetch the following page, and stop when meta.next is absent.

Credit cost: 1 per vessel found, capped at 500 credits per request.

Partial or full vessel name.

country_isostring

Flag state ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code.

typestring

Vessel type (e.g. Cargo, Tanker).

type_specificstring

Vessel subtype (see ship-types reference in the docs).

fuzzy0 | 1

0 for exact name match (default), 1 for approximate match.

_empty_boolean

Include or exclude vessels with a null type.

gross_tonnage_mininteger

Minimum gross tonnage.

gross_tonnage_maxinteger

Maximum gross tonnage.

deadweight_mininteger

Minimum deadweight.

deadweight_maxinteger

Maximum deadweight.

length_minnumber float

Minimum length in metres.

length_maxnumber float

Maximum length in metres.

breadth_minnumber float

Minimum breadth in metres.

breadth_maxnumber float

Maximum breadth in metres.

year_built_mininteger

Earliest year built.

year_built_maxinteger

Latest year built.

nextstring

Pagination token from the previous response's meta.next. Omit for the first page.
