SAT-E: estimated vessel position (beyond AIS)

Returns the same data as /vessel_pro plus an estimated_position field containing an AI-calculated lat/lon for vessels that are currently out of terrestrial AIS range.

The estimate is based on the vessel's last known position, its reported destination port, and its ETA. Activated automatically when a vessel has been inactive for 3+ hours.

Uses the extended base URL https://api.datalastic.com/api/ext/.

Credit cost: 3 credits. Requires an Add-Ons plan tier.
