Save a post

Saves a post to the connected account's private bookmark list. Any post may be saved, it does not notify the author and is never visible to third parties.

Path parameters

account_idstring required

The account ID (acc_...) that performs the save.

Request body

post_idstring required

The post's id from get_post or any list response. A bare activity id, a URN (activity/ugcPost/share), or a full share URL all work.

Response

The post is now saved (a private bookmark, no notification to the author, never visible to third parties). Re-saving an already-saved post just returns 200 again, not an error.

object'save_result' required

Response type discriminator.

savedboolean required

true after save_post, false after unsave_post.

post_idstring required

The target post's activity id, stripped of the urn:li:activity: prefix.
